Day Thirty Eight

Day 38: Thirty-eight, like most of the higher numbers,  doesn't seem to be too important in any particular way and it has very varied associations - from rags to infirmity to work. Given that chaotic situation, I chose work as the theme for this piece. The thirty-eight sequins are sewn on. While making this Omer series, I hadn't done much sewing since it's  time intensive; that is, I didn't want to put the work in. The piece is gilded because work is honorable and, also,  for the glory of "goldene hands."
